(Radio2000 FM-98.5)
MCRA Ltd. is the public company limited by guarantee with the mandate
to provide the multilingual broadcasting services for the multicultural
community of New South Wales. This service is provided by its broadcasting
division Radio2000 on FM-98.5 frequency band, broadcasting in 50
languages. More detail of the languages and language specific broadcasting
groups is available from the Program Schedule page.
Audio Production
(Under development)
Audio production will be a new and well supported initiative in
Radio2000. Our priority and similarly objects with this project
are:
- Serve as a training
facility for broadcasters who want to pursue further
training in audio production at a professional level.
- To provide an
affordable professional recording facility for young people
who want to pursue a career in music and entertainment industry.
- As an income source
for the station in catering for the multilingual needs
of government service providers as well as other industries in
promotion
of their services.
Language
Services (Under development)
The company has also put in
place the groundwork for Language Services especially in the area
of Translation and Interpretation. The facility and management skills
required will be provides by the company and utilize the professional
and qualified member of specific language group to provide the service.
