With
50 culturally and geographically diverse broadcasting groups, our
news format is determined by:
1. News for worldwide
coverage is sourced from international media organizations such
as: ABC and BBC for a general world perspective, and regionally
DW for Europe, Voice of America for the Americans, Radio Monte
Carlo for Africa and the Middle East, and CRI (China Radio International)
for Asia Pacific.
2. The variety of views needs to enhance an equal coverage of
international events and issues. To maintain such balance is the
task of our news team and editors led by our veteran broadcaster
Nabil Tannous for world news and Michael Zhou who is responsible
for the CRI news coverage of Asia Pacific.
3. Our priority is to cater for the information expected by the
multicultural communities of New South Wales. The Convener of
the specific community program has to ensure that external ethnic
conflicts of any kind are reported responsibly and handled with
sensitivity to the social cohesion of those communities here in
Australia.
