Welcome to the "Voice of the Australian Kurds" on Radio 2000FM. We are an independent source of news and offer extensive coverage of homeland, other international news, national events and current affairs every week.

Regular Features: Full coverage of national, international, homeland news and current affairs. The program is also devoted to interviews and special segments on youth, culture, women, families, health, immigration, literature and providing information to the community including community announcements. The program also includes Kurdish music.

The Kurdish Broadcast Team
Mostafa Khalil was born in the Kurdish region in a town called Kobani in northern Syria. He came to Australia in 1980 and settled in Sydney.
Mostafa has been involved in broadcasting radio programs since 1987 on various community radio stations and has been broadcasting on Radio 2000FM 98.5 since 1992.
In addition to Kurdish he speaks also English and Arabic. Mostafa was the winner of 'Broadcasting of the year' with Radio 2000FM in 1994.

Farhad Kadir, born in Sulimani, Iraqi Kurdistan is also contributing to the program since 2001.
