Welcome to the voice of Azerbaijan on 2000 FM 98.5. This broadcasting is to Service Australian Azerbaijani community and has been active since 3. January-. 1992.

Unfortunately during long standing war between Russia and Iran, Azerbaijan has been divided into two parts (1828) North and South Azerbaijan. Since then Azerbaijan has been subject to historical oppression by two powerful countries and irreparable destruction of language, culture and national identity etc. has been done.
North Azerbaijan has gained her independence after the falling of ex Soviet Union and is now a free Country, but south Azerbaijan is still under the oppression of the Iran government. Surprisingly the majority of Iran population are Azerbaijani and their mother language is Azeri, but the Azeri language is prohibited and education also official language is Farsi.
Our Azeri broadcasting is the only unique Azeri broadcasting in whole Australia. We cover Azeri national and international news, current affairs, music, talkbacks, calls,history, proverbs and literature.
