The Voice of the Arabic Community program provides entertainment for the Arabic Community of Sydney. It first began on 2000FM Radio in 1995 and the number of listeners continues to increase every week.

The Voice of the Arabic Community brings the community closer together and provides the community with social and comical entertainment.

The program often features many interviews concerning medical, social, agricultural and political issues with highly educated people. Among them are: Mr Saad Sefein, a lecturer in Family Affairs;, Dr Ahdy Abdelmalik, Economic Analyst;, Dr Medhat R. Guirguis, a General Practioner; Dr Makraam Makraam, an agriculturist.

Issues dealing with the family, health, women, culture and literature are often discussed on the program. The program promotes harmony within the Arabic community and always strives for goodwill and peace among the members of the community.

The Arabic Broadcast Team
Kamahl Ibram, the convenor, broadcaster and producer of the program, was born in Upper Egypt and completed his diploma in Sound Engineering in Cairo. He first began his career in the radio industry in 1960 for Radio Cairo, the national radio station in Egypt. Kamahl composes, edits and choreographies the program himself in his own private studio at home.

Laila Assad is also a broadcaster on the program, and together they produce a program that benefits the entire Arabic community.
